Clearpool governance approves migration from Ethereum to XRP Ledger
CIE News ·
Clearpool token holders voted to migrate the credit marketplace from Ethereum to the XRP Ledger, scheduling a Q4 2026 deployment with a 1:1 CPOOL swap for CLEAR.
Decentralized credit marketplace Clearpool announced that a community governance vote approved shifting its primary operations and native token from Ethereum to the XRP Ledger, according to CoinMarketCap on October 6, 2026. The protocol reported that the transition is scheduled for deployment during Q4 2026.
Under the migration plan, existing CPOOL holders will be eligible to exchange their holdings one-for-one for a new XRPL-native asset named CLEAR. Clearpool stated that the transfer aims to back institutional credit markets and connect with liquidity rails on the XRP Ledger, where loan settlements use RLUSD.
