Absorption
Aggressive orders meeting enough waiting limit orders on the other side that price barely moves. On a chart: CVD moving hard while price stays flat.
Why it matters
Absorption ends one of two ways: the aggressive side gives up and price turns away, or the waiting orders are used up and price breaks through.
