NG.CASH Closes $15M Strategic Funding Led by Blockchain Capital to Scale Crypto Services
CIE News ·
Brazilian fintech platform NG.CASH has officially closed a $15 million strategic funding round led by venture capital firm Blockchain Capital. The financing event brings the total volume of venture capital raised by the company to more than $65 million across its institutional financing history. NG.CASH will deploy the $15 million strategic investment to scale its existing credit product lines and to introduce crypto-asset services to consumers throughout Latin America, establishing an expanded credit and digital asset infrastructure designed for high-scale retail deployment.
The capital influx accelerates product integration for the platform's expanding ecosystem, which currently serves more than 10 million registered users. As it integrates crypto-asset functionalities, the company is conducting its operational rollout under the formal oversight frameworks established by the Central Bank of Brazil. By operating under existing Central Bank of Brazil licensing structures, NG.CASH maintains regulatory compliance while developing the necessary systems to support both digital asset transactions and credit delivery for its multi-million user platform across regional markets.
To reinforce its operational framework and expand its authorized service scope, NG.CASH currently has a formal application pending for a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license. This pending VASP application represents the platform's primary ongoing regulatory undertaking as it prepares to institutionalize digital asset operations alongside its credit business. Moving forward, the company will focus its operational resources on the deployment of this $15 million funding round to scale both credit and crypto-asset services throughout Latin America while awaiting formal regulatory resolution on its VASP licensing status.
