Bybit delisted BLASTUSDT contracts on October 4, 2026, after Blast revealed plans to close its Layer-2 network over high operational costs, sending the token down roughly 19%.
Bybit permanently delisted the BLASTUSDT perpetual contract on October 4, 2026, at 07:30 UTC, halting order execution, cancelling open orders, and running automated settlements on open positions. The delisting followed an announcement by the Blast team that it is winding down the Ethereum Layer-2 network because operational costs exceed revenue, triggering an approximate 19% slump in the token's price. KuCoin reported that users can withdraw funds via the standard interface until October 26, 2026, after which asset withdrawals will require direct interaction with the Ethereum bridge contract.
