Automated trading infrastructure startup Catalyst announced a $30 million seed round led by Sequoia on October 8, 2026, according to CryptoRank. The round included Jump Trading, PeakXV, Lux Capital, AntiFund, Coinbase, and Premji Invest. Co-founded by Justin Zheng and Dylan Iskandar, the startup builds AI agents that convert natural-language instructions into algorithmic trading strategies. An invite-only pilot for institutional and power traders has processed hundreds of millions of dollars in volume, and Catalyst plans to expand execution engines to retail users alongside educational and risk management modules.
