Bitcoin (BTC) rebounded roughly $2,000 from weekly lows on October 28, 2026, trading between $80,800 and $81,650. The recovery lifted total market capitalization to $1.63 trillion as traders adjusted positions during the concluding day of the Federal Reserve's policy meeting.

Data from CryptoQuant indicates that institutional demand from the United States weakened over the same period. The Coinbase Premium index remained persistently negative through October with an average of -0.093, while the Bull Score Index declined from 90 to 60.

According to CryptoQuant, 30-day apparent spot demand for BTC dropped to -76,000 BTC. This decline occurred as production from miners outpaced absorption by buyers in the spot market.
