Volume delta
Taker buy volume minus taker sell volume over a period, usually one candle. Positive: takers bought more than they sold; negative: they sold more.
Why it matters
Delta shows which side was aggressive, not where price went: about a third of hourly BTC candles in 2026 had a colour opposite to their delta.
