Binance recorded $3.64 billion in net outflows after reopening customer withdrawals on November 1, 2026, according to the exchange. The outflows followed the phased resumption of account access after a $6.34 billion exploit prompted a platform-wide suspension of withdrawals.
Binance stated that the outflows accounted for 2.1% of its total $171 billion in assets. The exchange noted that withdrawal volumes declined after an initial surge immediately following the reopening of services. The first phase of the restart permitted transfers of major tokens including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), and USD Coin (USDC).
Binance previously confirmed that deposits remained unaffected and committed to fully absorbing the financial losses from the incident. The exchange reported that 90% of the stolen funds had been replenished using corporate treasury funds, the futures insurance fund, and its Secure Asset Fund for Users, with buybacks ongoing for less liquid assets.
