Fifty publicly traded companies have filed formal objections against having their equity tokenized on OKXICE, according to crypto.news. The joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange originally identified 62 issuers for trading on 24/7 XLayer liquidity pools, but recent opposition from firms including Nvidia, Nike, Costco, Micron, and Reddit raised the total count of objectors from 38 on October 28 to 50 on October 30. Under SEC temporary exemption rules, timely objections from issuers bar the venue from launching or trading unauthorized tokenized representations of their shares.
