On October 28, 2026, the SEC filed charges against Blox Lending, Jason R. Anderson, Digital Licensing, Inc., Schad Brannon, and Roydon Nelson for an alleged $200 million fraud scheme tied to the DEBT Box enterprise. According to the SEC, the operators defrauded over 100,000 investors between November 2021 and August 2023 by selling license agreements tied to purported real-world projects that generated no actual revenue.
