Coinbase began migrating AERO and VELO into a unified AERO token on November 2, 2026. Transfers are paused, VELO trading is halted, and balances convert automatically at no fee.
Coinbase began a token migration window on November 2, 2026, to combine Aerodrome Finance (AERO) and Velodrome Finance (VELO) into a unified AERO token following the merger of both decentralized exchanges under the Aero brand. The exchange disabled sends, receives, and deposits for legacy AERO and VELO tokens and halted VELO trading. Eligible customer balances convert automatically with no fee, granting legacy AERO a 1:1 swap and VELO approximately 0.044 new AERO per token. The conversion window concludes on November 4, 2026, and Coinbase warned that legacy token deposits sent after the period will not be supported and may be unrecoverable.
