Goldman Sachs is offering its roughly $100 billion Treasury fund, FTIXX, to institutional crypto firms via the Lynq settlement network, according to CoinDesk. Rather than launching a tokenized vehicle, the traditional fund is distributed through Lynq with trades handled by broker-dealer tZERO Securities, enabling firms to earn yield on cash held between trades. Lynq, which operates on a private Avalanche Layer 1 blockchain with over $89 million in assets, added FTIXX as its second asset exclusively for eligible U.S. institutional clients.
