NEAR Intents clarified that it froze $503,000 from the $388 million Bitget hack while blocking $50 million in attempted transfers, with $166,000 slipping through.

As previously reported, NEAR Intents intercepted illicit transactions tied to the $388 million Bitget breach. General manager Alex Shevchenko clarified, according to CoinDesk, that the platform's SHIELD mechanism froze $503,000 mid-transaction and blocked over $50 million in attempted swaps, though an estimated $166,000 bypassed the filter. The restricted funds are currently being held pending legal and recovery procedures, while rejected transactions routed to alternative service providers.
