Crypto super PAC Fairshake has announced support for 32 incumbent candidates in the U.S. House of Representatives for the November elections, CoinDesk reported. The bipartisan slate includes 19 Republicans and 13 Democrats who largely serve on committees vital to digital asset regulation, such as House Financial Services and House Ways and Means.
A spokesman for the super PAC told CoinDesk that six selected incumbents are receiving $1 million each from Fairshake and its affiliates. On the Republican side, the top recipients are French Hill, Bill Huizenga, and Bryan Steil. For the Democrats, the $1 million allocations go to Steven Horsford, Derek Tran, and Janelle Bynum.
Fairshake spokesperson Geoff Vetter stated that the PAC aims to assemble the largest pro-crypto caucus in American history, noting it has already backed 53 primary winners out of 57 races. Beyond the House slate, the political action committee has committed roughly $30 million toward opposing former Senator Sherrod Brown's Senate campaign in Ohio.
