Sui announced on October 8, 2026, at the Sui Basecamp event in Singapore that its native Bitcoin finance protocol, Hashi, secured over $500 million in capital commitments from more than 20 digital asset firms, according to Investing.com. The commitments arrive ahead of a phased mainnet rollout scheduled for later in October 2026, with Anchorage Digital joining as a launch partner to provide institutional access and stablecoin liquidity. Native Bitcoin (BTC) will remain on its original blockchain while Hashi coordinates its use as collateral across Sui smart contracts managed by Aftermath, Concrete, and Fluid.
