Bitcoin ETF withdrawals reached roughly $729 million across two days after $1.19 billion in crypto liquidations drove BTC to about $80,400, according to CoinDesk.

Two-day withdrawals from U.S. Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds reached roughly $729 million following Wednesday outflows of $485 million, according to CoinDesk citing SoSoValue data. As previously reported, Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $244 million in net outflows on October 8, 2026.

The broader retreat also impacted other crypto funds, with Ether (ETH) funds shedding about $73 million and Solana (SOL) funds losing about $3 million. Outflows coincided with $1.19 billion in leveraged crypto positions being liquidated, which pushed the price of BTC down to about $80,400 before it rebounded to near $82,000.
