South Korea's FSC reported that GOPAX operator Streami and Pravang were compromised in a 16-firm breach, exposing about 100,000 customer records.
South Korea's Financial Services Commission named crypto businesses Streami, which runs the GOPAX exchange, and Pravang among 16 financial institutions hit by data breaches, CryptoSlate reported. Regulators estimated that approximately 100,000 items of customer data were exposed across the compromised firms, including resident registration numbers, names, contact details, and emails. Financial authorities confirmed no passwords or payment credentials were stolen, and agencies are investigating whether a shared threat actor used AI tools in the campaign. In response, regulators proposed mandatory vulnerability assessments at least twice a year for major financial firms and faster threat-intelligence sharing.
