Standard Chartered announced on October 21, 2026, that it signed definitive agreements to acquire 100% of Zodia Custody Limited, following up on an earlier reported definitive deal. The transaction requires regulatory approvals across Zodia's licensed entities in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and Luxembourg. Under the post-acquisition structure, custody operations will shift into Standard Chartered's Securities Services division, while software and professional services will spin off into Zodia Solutions under SC Ventures alongside external co-investors.
