Samsung Wallet is introducing Solana-based USDC transfers across 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices, allowing cross-border payouts to over 60 countries, according to cryptoticker.io.

Samsung Wallet is launching cross-border Circle USD Coin (USDC) transfers settled on the Solana blockchain for 82 million registered Galaxy devices in the United States, according to cryptoticker.io. The integration enables in-wallet transfers with local fiat settlement in more than 60 destination countries.

The feature lets registered users send USDC directly within the native Samsung Wallet interface to compatible external wallets. Custody rails for the feature are operated by licensed custodian Bastion, with Coinbase serving as the sub-custodian, meaning Samsung itself does not custody user tokens.

Circle updated its terms to limit primary dollar redemption to institutional Circle Mint account holders, while local partners handle conversions at transfer endpoints. Samsung and the Solana Foundation initially announced their collaboration on October 7, 2026, targeting the retail remittance market.
