IBM, Oracle, Intel, and IonQ have officially opted out of plans by crypto exchange OKX and NYSE parent Intercontinental Exchange to offer tokenized trading of their shares, bringing total issuer objections to 26, according to CoinDesk. An updated public notice dated October 26 listed the four companies, which joined earlier objectors including Microsoft and Alphabet under the SEC's five-year Innovation Exemption framework. OKXICE initially proposed using Uniswap v4 liquidity pools on the XLayer blockchain settled in stablecoins, which gives issuers 30 days to block tokenization before trading starts.
