Bitcoin fell between $76,700 and $77,800 on November 3, 2026, amid constrained global liquidity, nearly $1.04 billion in recent ETF outflows, and broader equity weakness.
Bitcoin (BTC) traded between $76,700 and $77,800 on November 3, 2026, dropping 8.25% from its late October high of $84,134 as global dollar liquidity gauges stood at 32.71 million. That liquidity metric remained 0.6% below its October peak of 32.90 million, despite gaining 4.49% year-to-date. Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX and CIO of Maelstrom, described liquidity as recharging and stated that Bitcoin weakness should be expected until the Federal Reserve or banks expand balance sheets.
CryptoSlate reported that Bitcoin failed to recover even as 10-year inflation-protected US Treasury yields fell from 2.76% to 2.60% between October 21 and October 30. During the same period, the Nasdaq-100 fell 4.82%, showing equity weakness that continued to weigh on crypto assets. Spot exchange-traded funds added to the downward pressure, shedding $398.6 million on November 2 after $643.2 million in outflows on October 30, bringing total net redemptions to roughly $1.04 billion over two sessions according to Farside Investors.
Market fragility was heightened by a security breach at Binance on October 29, which trading firm Wintermute identified as the primary crypto-specific shock behind the downturn. Cryptoticker.io reported that the Federal Reserve held interest rates at 3.75% to 4.00% on October 28, dampening expectations for a rate reduction before the end of the year.
