OKX and NYSE parent ICE file to launch tokenized US stock venue

OKX and NYSE parent ICE have notified the SEC of plans to launch a platform offering tokenized shares in more than 60 US-listed companies under a new regulatory exemption.

Crypto exchange OKX and New York Stock Exchange parent Intercontinental Exchange have notified the US Securities and Exchange Commission of plans to launch a tokenized securities venue, according to Cointelegraph. The proposed platform aims to list tokenized shares in more than 60 US-listed companies. The joint initiative operates under a newly introduced innovation exemption from the SEC.
