ZachXBT links over $12 million from Bybit exploit to Lazarus-tied syndicate

On-chain researcher ZachXBT reported uncovering a network that laundered over $1 billion for the Lazarus Group, linking over $12 million in Bybit exploit funds across a cluster of Solana addresses.
On-chain investigator ZachXBT released findings linking more than $12 million from the 2025 Bybit exploit to a syndicate that has laundered over $1 billion for North Korea's Lazarus Group, crypto.news and tradingview.com reported. According to the investigator, an undercover operation costing $349,700 led him to an operator using the alias Jimmy Green, whose wallet details exposed three Solana addresses tied to the stolen funds. Tradingview.com reported that Tether subsequently froze 442,000 Tether (USDT) connected to the identified cluster.
