Hardware wallet maker Ledger launched a self-custodial loan service powered by decentralized credit protocol Morpho through provider Yield.xyz, Decrypt reported on October 7, 2026. Unveiled at the TOKEN2049 conference in Singapore, the feature lets eligible users deposit cbBTC or wBTC as collateral directly within the Ledger Wallet app to borrow USDC or USDT stablecoins. Crucial loan actions require physical confirmation on a Ledger device, and the company also introduced direct Morpho access without browser extensions. The rollout begins immediately for eligible users, according to Decrypt.
