The IRS revamp: 120 days from a completed submission, and no crypto track

The IRS is overhauling its Voluntary Disclosure Program, the route for admitting unreported income. Criminal Investigation chief Jarod Koopman announced the revamp: lower penalties, instalment plans and offers in compromise.

Crypto gets no separate track, which is the sane choice.

The programme is expected before December. fwiw 120 days is a target.
