UPDATE: US spot Bitcoin ETFs snap nine-day inflow run with $148.7M outflow
CIE News ·
Revised data indicates US spot Bitcoin ETFs shed $148.7 million on September 30, breaking a nine-day inflow streak following major redemptions led by Fidelity.
As previously reported, US spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs appeared on track to extend their positive run, but updated tracking data reported by CryptoSlate shows the products instead recorded a net daily outflow of $148.7 million on September 30.
The reversal halted a nine-session streak of net positive flows that had accumulated roughly $3.08 billion. Fidelity's FBTC led the redemptions with $125.6 million in withdrawals, while Bitwise's BITB shed $13.6 million and BlackRock's IBIT lost $9.5 million. The remaining nine listed funds recorded no net flow activity for the session.
Despite the final-day outflow, September closed with approximately $2.65 billion in total net additions, making it the second-strongest month of 2026 for the products. Market analysts note that cumulative lifetime flows stand near $57.7 billion, roughly $5 billion below their all-time high set in October 2025.
